Goals

Short Term Goals:

  • Get to 199 pounds (under 200 sounds amazing!!) – ACHIEVED
  • Learn the SlimGenics plan and feel confident in knowing what I’m doing – ACHIEVED
  • Start cooking more – ACHIEVED
  • Exercise at least 3x week – I still need to work on this goal
  • Continue this blog to track my progress – ACHIEVED
  • Finally be able to cross my legs with ease – ACHIEVED

Long Term Goals:

  • Reach my goal of 170 pounds (50 pound loss total) – ACHIEVED yet not maintained so I need to continue working on this
  • Reach my NEW goal to lose 60 pounds! – ACHIEVED yet not maintained so I need to continue working on this
  • Reach my FINAL goal to lose 65 pounds! – ACHIEVED yet not maintained so I need to continue working on this
  • Feel confident in my body – in progress
  • Be proud of myself for accomplishing something difficult – in progress
  • Continue living a healthy lifestyle for myself and my family – in progress
  • Continue exercising – needs improvement
  • Wear a size 14 (or smaller) and be able to shop in “regular” clothing stores – not just in plus size clothing stores – ACHIEVED yet not maintained so I need to continue working on this

Back in college I used to think I was “fat”, looking back I’d love to look how I did back then, so with that said here is my goal picture.  (Pic taken in 2003 – I was a size 13/14).

    WOW Ive done a program called quick weight loss center which is almost the same as Slimgenics and you inspire me sooo much to get back on it!!! Ive lost 60lbs with qwlc and quit and gained it all back but I feel like I CAN succeed by reading your blog…. Any tips? I know the first few weeks will be the hardest if I can just get through that…….. Thanks
